Casey Affleck: Oscar Winner’s Wife Files For Divorce

Casey Affleck won an Oscar in 2017 as Best Actor — but Ben Affleck's brother is losing a spouse after his sex scandals were put in the spotlight!

Summer Phoenix, the sister of Joaquin Phoenix and the late River Phoenix, has filed for divorce just five months after Casey was handed an Academy Award for "Manchester by the Sea." But the court documents show that the couple had been keeping their separation a secret since Nov. 2015, as Casey was slammed with allegations of sexual harassment!

Ben’s little brother was blasted by showbiz figures after his nomination was announced, with activists saying he should've been blackballed over over sexual harassment charges from two women who worked for him on "I’m Still Here" — a hoax documentary starring Joaquin in 2010.

That same year, producer Amanda White claimed Casey physically intimidated her, encouraged other men to expose themselves to her and sent abusive text messages after she refused to share a hotel room with him.

A week later, cinematographer Magdalena Gorka described similar antics — with Casey denying the allegations but eventually reaching an undisclosed settlement with the two. But while the scandal couldn't cost him an Oscar, it could still cost him plenty in court!

Summer is looking for spousal support and attorney fees in the court papers. She's also seeking joint physical and legal custody of their sons Indiana, 13, and 9-year-old Atticus. The divorce petition filed on July 31 cites irreconcilable differences.
