Caitlyn Jenner kept the secret of her final surgery from ex-wife Kris Jenner and his stepdaughters in the Kardashian klan — saying: "Of course I didn’t trust them!"

Caitlyn made the confession to UK newsman Piers Morgan, as the former Bruce Jenner revealed that she kept Kris and her kids from seeing the final pages of her autobiography, "The Secrets Of My Life." The shocking tell-all closed with Caitlyn confirming The National ENQUIRER's reports that she'd had her final gender reassignment surgery to become a woman. Caitlyn explained: "Because I didn’t want them to leak it to the press...of course I didn’t trust them, yeah."

But even giving Kris a first look at most of her book didn't help Caitlyn dodge fallout. The momager was furious that Caitlyn insisted that Kris had always known about Bruce's plans to become a woman. “Everything she says is all made up,” complained Kris. “I’ve never been so angry and disappointed.”

The ENQUIRER, meanwhile, had the scoop on Caitlyn's plans for surgery. Just weeks before she went in for the final cut, sources told The ENQUIRER: “Cait is ready to take the plunge. She always felt trapped inside a man’s body — now she’ll be free to express herself as a whole woman.” And while Kris was kept in the dark, the insider added Caitlyn had prepared her daughters from her marriage with Kris: “She had long, arduous talks with Kylie and Kendall.”
