Caitlyn's already settled a lawsuit by Jessica Steindorff, another driver who had stopped abruptly two cars ahead of Caitlyn — but the new suit
also blames Steindorff for the accident. Caitlyn is claiming that Steindorff was on her cellphone at the time of the accident, and was also driving with a suspended license. (The damage to the front of Caitlyn's Cadillac Escalade SUV is seen here.)

The court documents also say that photographers following Caitlyn's car were also to blame: "As a direct consequence and result of this stalking, harassing and distracting conduct, [Caitlyn] was visually distracted, and the negligence and reckless conduct of the Stalker Defendants did contribute to the cause of an accident where seconds and split seconds mattered."

Caitlyn seemed carefree while out with '80s "Dynasty" star Stephanie Beacham, but the court documents seem to anticipate further lawsuits from the dead woman's family. Caitlyn's attorneys want the pursuing photographers to share responsibility for any liability that she might face from the accident.
