Bobbi Kristina Brown — Death Secrets Revealed

A report on Bobbi Kristina Brown's death was revealed on what would have been the 23rd birthday of Whitney Houston's doomed daughter — and The National ENQUIRER can report that the cause of death officially remains "Undetermined." The troubling document from Georgia's Fulton County Medical Examiner declared: "Death was clearly not due to natural causes, but the medical examiner has not been able to determine whether death was due to intentional or accidental causes"!

Bobbi Kristina's unresponsive body was found in a bathtub at her Alpharetta, Ga., home after a booze-and-drug filled party on Jan. 31, 2015. She remained in a coma for five months until dying on July 26 — as seen in this exclusive National ENQUIRER photo of Bobbi Kristina in her final moments. The coroner's report says that Bobbi Kristina passed away from "Lobar pneumonia...due to: Immersion of face in water, complicating mixed drug intoxication."

But cops have also been investigating Bobbi Kristina's death as a possible homicide after a series of troubling scoops by The ENQUIRER! On Aug. 7, 2015, an amended lawsuit filed by Bobbi Kristina’s conservator alleged that Bobbi Kristina's longtime boyfriend, Nick Gordon, gave her a “toxic cocktail,” and then put her facedown in a bathtub of cold water. (The bathroom of the death house is shown here.) The lawsuit claims Gordon argued with Bobbi Kristina after returning home from an “all-night cocaine and drinking binge” at around 6 a.m. on Jan. 31.

Law enforcement sources later told The ENQUIRER that “CSI-style forensic evidence” was collected within hours of Bobbi Kristina being found unconscious while facedown in the bathtub. Said the source: “While it’s no secret Nick and several others were in the townhouse when paramedics arrived ... a piece of physical evidence found upstairs directly relates to wrongdoing in the incident — and that contains incriminating fingerprints”!

The coroner's report still notes that Bobbi Kristina's drug addictions (as captured in this disturbing photo) were part of her eventual demise, stating: "The underlying cause of death is the condition which starts the downhill course of events leading to death — and, in this case, is the immersion associated with drug intoxication. The pneumonia and encephalopathy are more immediate causes which resulted from the immersion and drug intoxication."

"The drugs involved," said the document, "included marijuana, alcohol (ethanol), benzoylecgonine (a cocaine-related substance), benzodiazepines (medications used for sedation or to treat anxiety), and morphine. It could not be determined from toxicology tests whether the morphine resulted from heroin use." The coroner's report also cites the difficulties in determining the cause of death caused by "the long interval" between Bobbi Kristina's body being found and her eventual passing in hospice.

In an exclusive interview with The ENQUIRER in June 2015, Bobbi Kristina's neighbor, Debra Reis Brooks, recalled how Nick Gordon and friend Max Lomas (who had called 911 at 10:23 a.m.) remained in her home while police conducted their investigation next door. Debra told The ENQUIRER: “Nick was so out of control and the police came up to me and said, ‘Would you take him in?’ because they wanted to bring [Bobbi Kristina] out on a stretcher and didn’t want him to see her.”

Gordon was panic-stricken and reeked of alcohol and still seemed drunk, she said. Debra recalled that he vomited several times in her home. She said Lomas, an accused drug dealer, acted “very scared, and he kept saying, ‘I can’t get arrested.’” A source also told The ENQUIRER that Gordon remained the key person of interest for investigators.

The ENQUIRER also uncovered sensational text messages sent in the final hours before Bobbi Kristina’s death. The texts — which could become vital evidence in any criminal case — show how she feared Nick, and detail a conversation in which Bobbi Kristina reached out to a close friend while revealing she was fed up with her hot-tempered boyfriend. Family members and pals have described Nick as a jealous lover, and claimed that he frequently beat Bobbi Kristina senseless.

A longtime friend of Bobbi Kristina's told The ENQUIRER that Nick and Bobbi Kristina had been sleeping in separate bedrooms at the Alpharetta home because of continued fighting in their relationship. Police were called to their residence on Jan. 23 over a reported fight. But when cops arrived, no one was home.

The insider told The ENQUIRER: “The Wednesday before [Krissi's body was found], she texted a friend of mine, saying, ‘I don’t think things between me and Nick are working out.’ Krissi wanted to leave him, and had plans to move to California to follow in her mother’s footsteps as a singer. Sadly ... her dreams will never be fulfilled.”
