Watching the “Mike Walker” character (actor Patrick Labyorteaux, above) finally appear on FX’s riveting “The People v. O.J. Simpson,” my phone kept beeping with ha-ha texts from pals, such as, “Why George Clooney not playing you?”
Then came a call from Faye Resnick, co-author of our headline-making #1 best-seller, “Nicole Brown Simpson: The Private Diary of a Life Interrupted”!
Faye asked how suddenly revisiting it all had hit me. I told her that beyond knowing we’d helped unmask murdering scumbag O.J. Simpson when Judge Ito literally stopped the Trial of the Century to read our book, I was thrilled at today’s reaction to all the secrets we’d revealed — and how that helped impact the paper I’m so proud of when The New York Times wrote: “The National ENQUIRER has become the Bible of the O.J. Simpson case!”
