PERKS OF FAME DEPT.: Sometimes it pays to be recognized! Studly JERRY O’CONNELL, who stars as a lawyer on “The Defenders,” won a Get Out of Jury Duty Free pass when an LA judge ruled that his presence was disrupting the courtroom – female jurors kept swooning, whipping out cell phone cameras and passing him notes begging for autographs.

Poor Jerry – unlike JENNIFER LOPEZ, who had a deputy assigned to protect her during jury duty – got so swamped by the ladies he just couldn’t “defend” himself.

So Hizzoner declared that the only way to get order in the court was to excuse Hunky Boy – who graciously thanked everyone and exited amidst subdued female moans.
