Hot-hot-hot in “The Intern,” Anne Hathaway, buying groceries at an LA market, was jolted when a woman in the checkout line remarked: “I watch you ALL the time on TV!”
Said Anne sweetly (the only way she says anything!): “But I’m not really on TV much — I do movies, mostly! Maybe you’ve seen one of my films?”
But when the woman responded, “Oh no, I don’t think so … I can’t afford going to the movies,” Anne totally MELTED!
Sighed My Checkout Spy: “Instantly, Anne said, ‘I’ll have to take care of that!’ She took down the woman’s info — and we later learned she’d sent movie passes so her whole family could see ‘The Intern’ for FREE!”
