According to reports, Mariah Carey has checked herself out of the Connecticut clinic where she has been under a doctor’s care for nearly three weeks.
Carey checked into the facility on July 25, after suffering a physical and emotional breakdown, but her spokesperson says she is coming along. “MC is feeling better,” spokeswoman Cyndi Berger told the Daily News. “She’s under a doctor’s care at an undisclosed location with her mother.”
Carey had been complaining of being overworked just before her hospitalization. She left two messages on her official website stating that she was exhausted, and hinted that she was not receiving enough attention from her new record label. The messages have since been removed.
Carey’s movie “Glitter” will be released on September 21, and the soundtrack will be available on August 21.
