JANET JACKSON TO STOP TOURING

Janet Jackson, currently on the road on her “All For You” tour, says that this may be the last one.

Jackson, in an interview for the television show “Extra,” revealed that life on the road is getting too hard to handle. “Touring is very grueling,” she says. “It’s very taxing on the body and living out of your suitcase, going from city to city, night after night. It’s a tough job.”

Jackson has had a hard time with things on this tour — she had to cancel several shows due to health problems and production issues. Due to the September 11 terrorist attacks, one section of her European tour was canceled.

“If I could find a way to do this within a month, two months, and hit every place that I need to go, I would definitely do it again,” Jackson says. “I’m trying to figure out a way to make it work for everyone in that way, but, if not, it may just be my last one.”

Janet Jackson’s “All For You” tour ends in Honolulu, Hawaii on February 16.
