DENNIS RODMAN AVOIDS CHARGES IN VEGAS FONDLING INCIDENT

description

Dennis Rodman fondle a waitress? No way.

At least that’s what a Las Vegas Hilton said when one of their cocktail waitresses accused the former basketball bad boy of attaching himself to her breast while she served him a drink.

Gloria Chapa was suspended and then fired after she reported the incident to hotel/casino management.

The hotel decided her complaint was false, and after being reinstated in 1999, Chapa filed sexual harassment, battery, retaliation and negligence charges against the Hilton.

Recently, a judge awarded her the right to a trial, saying that the firing was “undoubtedly an adverse employment action.”

Chapa was able to produce the names of two other female employees who were also allegedly groped by the cross-dressing star at the hotel.

Additional claims of defamation, false imprisonment, civil conspiracy, civil aiding and abetting and intentional infliction of emotional distress against the Hilton were dismissed by the judge hearing the case.
