A fang-and-claw catfight’s looming on the Yellowstone set where newcomer Jen Landon’s attention-grabbing antics are stirring bad blood with star Kelly Reilly, sources snitch.
Jen, 38, daughter of the late Little House on the Prairie legend Michael Landon and his third wife Cindy, loves her new gig as sass-talking Teeter, but she’s rubbing English beauty Kelly, 44, who plays spoiled, rich gal Beth Dutton, the wrong way, according to spies.
“Ever since Jen joined the show last season, the atmosphere has been tinged with jealousy,” spills an insider. “Kelly doesn’t like the way Jen’s getting all the attention and looks from the guys.”
“She thinks it’s pathetic the way Jen skips around flaunting and self-promotes on social media.”
“Clearly, Kelly’s threatened by Jen’s rising star. She’s annoyed by the way Jen talks about her dad, Michael, to anyone who’ll listen. Kelly thinks it smacks of favoritism.”
Meanwhile, a source says Jen’s aware of Kelly’s attitude toward her, but “she just chalks it up to bitterness and resentment.”
The insider claims Jen and Kelly are even “badmouthing each other” to series star Kevin Costner and cast and crew are “bracing for trouble” when shooting resumes this month.
“Kevin, for one, doesn’t want to be stuck between these two wildcats on the open range and he plans on wearing ear plugs to drum it out,” insists a source.
However, sources say the cast and crew like Jen and her tales about her dad, who died at 54 of pancreatic cancer in 1991 after starring on Bonanza, Little House and Highway to Heaven.
Adds the insider: “Jen’s inspired by her dad every day to do her best work and if Kelly can’t take the heat, then she should get out of the kitchen!”
