WORLD EXCLUSIVE INTERVIEW! LARRY FLYNT: JACKIE O, LIZ TAYLOR, POLITICAL SCANDAL & THE ENQUIRER

NationalEnquirer.com

In a NATIONAL ENQUIRER web Exclusive, LARRY FLYNT says in a blockbuster interview that politicians “better watch out” – he’s still feisty at age 70, and he’ll continue to expose political corruption and scandal!

Sitting behind his opulent desk at his lavish Beverly Hills headquarters, the infamous wheelchair-bound publisher of “Hustler” magazine said he had offered “a million dollars” for the tax returns of Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney during the 2012 campaign against President Obama – and he’ll be looking closely at the 2016 race for the White House and all the candidates.

He also said he was upset that the mainstream media waited so long to endorse The ENQUIRER’s bombshell series of exclusive reports during the 2008 election that John Edwards was carrying on an affair with campaign videographer Rielle Hunter and was pregnant with their love child.

Flynt declared: “I commend The National ENQUIRER  on the John Edwards story — and I felt for you guys because I saw what was happening with the mainstream press. They were looking the other way!

“The truth is, they won’t get out and do the work, but they’ll be the first to criticize! When I published the story on Idaho Senator Larry Craig’s (alleged airport bathroom) sex scandal, it got ignored. I said to myself, ‘That will never happen again.’

“So, now, whenever I have a big story to break, I hold a news conference!

“Once the story is put to bed and set to run, I pass out everything, all the information, all the data that I have. And if I have 50 or so press people in the room, they have to cover it—because they can’t risk the fact that somebody else is going to do it and they won’t!”

Still busy as ever, Flynt has co-written a book, “One Nation Under Sex: How the Private Lives of Presidents, First Ladies and Their Lovers Changed the Course of American History,” with co-author and Columbia University professor David Eisenbach.

WHY does he continue to uncover political and celebrity scandal?

He said, “I'm a businessman as well as a publisher, and there's always a fig leaf covering somebody up that people are going to want to see a piece of it uncovered.  So, we do that for as much a business reason as we do an editorial reason.”

Flynt’s been handicapped since a 1978 assassination attempt left him paralyzed from the waist down and he’s been jailed numerous times. But he continues to beat the odds!

Now, his empire has grown to include adult TV channels, 11 Hustler Hollywood stores, strip clubs and a casino, as well as 18 publications and various Internet companies.

Flynt told The ENQUIRER he’s getting ready to celebrate the upcoming 40th anniversary of Hustler next year.

First published in 1974, Flynt says what really put the porn mag on the map was running the shots of Jackie Kennedy Onassis, the former First Lady sunning herself in the nude on then-husband Aristotle Onassis' private Greek island, Skorpios.

Flynt purchased them for Hustler in 1975.  He ran five full-color shots in the August issue, and despite his decision to print several million more copies than normal, the issue quickly sold out.

He told The ENQUIRER, “I made over $20 million on those photos. It was the best investment I ever made.”

So, The ENQUIRER asked, does Larry Flynt have any secrets?

He smiles and says, “About 25 years ago, I was in a hospital room at Cedars-Sinai in Los Angeles and right next door was Elizabeth Taylor!

“So, I told the nurse who was taking care of me, ‘You have to call The National ENQUIRER and give them her room number!’

“So, you guys ran the story…and no one ever knew it came from me!”

Thanks, Larry!
