NORMAN REEDUS has become a breakout sex symbol playing macho zombie fighter Daryl Dixon on “The Walking Dead,” but in real life he’s struck out trying to find Ms. Right.
The 44-year-old actor – who’s become so popular that his crossbow-wielding character has avoided being killed off like many others – often talks about finding his perfect match, say sources.
“Norman says he’s at the age now where he feels he should settle down and establish a stable home life,” revealed an insider.
But friends say there’s also a dramatically different side to Norman – he’s a player with a track record of looking for love in all the wrong places. “He pays lip service to finding the perfect girl, but he just loves the attention his fame on ‘Walking Dead’ has brought him,” said a pal. “He’s a sucker for sexy actresses and models.”
Norman had a five-year relationship with Danish supermodel Helena Christensen, and they share custody of their 14-year-old son Mingus. He’s also been linked to his gorgeous former co-star Laurie Holden – who played the doomed Andrea – and stunning swimsuit model Cecilia Singley.
Meanwhile, he’s been swamped with love letters from swooning fans, and one even sent him her silicone breast implant!
“I’ve been followed home at least a half dozen times,” boasted the star, “and I’ve had somebody break into my backyard.”
Amazingly, his fan base is continuing to grow. The show’s fourth season premiere in early October set the all-time ratings record for a cable TV drama with more than 16 million viewers.
Said the pal: “Norman can’t believe he’s become a sex symbol in his mid-forties.”
