Chunky LL Cool J’s
weight gain has been a heavy load to bear for the whole cast and crew of NCIS: Los Angeles, sources tell The National ENQUIRER.

“LL packed on at least 15 pounds during the pandemic,” snitches a source. “He’s going through hell trying to lose it, and he’s making everyone around him pay the price.”

The Grammy Award–winning rapper turned actor, who’s been on the hit show for 13 seasons, once touted himself as a fitness guru and even wrote a book about his diet and exercise regime back in 2006.

“He’s always been the fit guy known for his body, so to be out of shape suddenly and not be able to fix it is tough,” says the source. “He’s obviously very uncomfortable.”

The 54-year-old star’s bulging body is painfully obvious when it comes time to film action scenes, confide insiders.

“The problem on the show is that LL is called upon to do some running and light stunt work almost every episode, and that’s where it’s almost impossible to hide his weight gain without putting him in a windbreaker or oversized sweater,” spills the source.

But the worst part is the flab seems to drag down LL’s attitude, snitches dish.

“He’s constantly on an extreme diet and that totally affects his mood,” says the source. “He starves himself all morning, which makes him really on edge. Then he breaks down by the afternoon and goes wild at the snack table. It’s not a big shock he can’t lose weight.”

“Everyone has started to take notice and make little comments about how grumpy he always is, but that hasn’t made any difference.”

“He used to be the guy who would talk to everyone, but now he just scowls — and most people avoid him!”
