Zero gravity toilet flummoxed not only STANLY KUBRICK but real-life astronauts as well as declassified "poop in space" stinks up the internet.
Despite being the only legit gag in Kubrick’s “2001: A Space Odyssey”, a poop problem in 1969 nearly overshadowed the moon landing in July.
In a newly released a 500-page declassified transcript of the Apollo 10 oribital-moon mission, astronauts complain about a jarring and unseemingly UFO WITHIN the spacecraft.
"Give me a napkin, quick," Commander Tom Stafford says. "There's a turd floating through the air."
"I didn't do it," Command module pilot John Young responds. "It ain't one of mine."
Lunar module skipper Eugene “Gene” Cernan snapped, "I don't think it's one of mine."
"Mine was a little more sticky than that," Stafford responds. "Throw that away."
According to the transcript, sometime later, Cernan explodes, “Here's another goddam turd. What's the matter with you guys?"
While the transcript has been declassified for years, it's only now causing a stink on the Twitter-verse, natch.
