Teresa Giudice made it out of prison today and back home in time for Christmas — and the jailbird will be roosting at home for a while!
The ENQUIRER was there as the “Real Housewives of New Jersey” diva was let loose from the Danbury Federal Correctional Institution at the crack of dawn — as the authorities did their best to keep things quiet as a mouse!
Teresa’s attorney, James Leonard Jr., was still able to personally pick up his client outside of the Connecticut prison and get her back to her New Jersey home.
Teresa had been sentenced to 15 months on numerous federal fraud charges after she and her husband Joe had pleaded guilty in March 2014. Now it’s Joe’s turn to serve a 41-month sentence while Teresa tries to get back to her reality-show empire — even though she’ll still be spending some time under house arrest!
Teresa actually got out of prison in under a year, and the 43-year-old is now safely back at her home with her hubby (who The ENQUIRER caught hanging out in a New Jersey strip joint while Teresa was serving her time). Teresa is also back with her four daughters — Gia, Gabriella, Milania and Audriana — for what probably feels like her best Christmas ever!
