Tamron Hall is a mom at 48. The journalist announced via Instagram on Thursday, April 25 that she recently welcomed her first baby.
“Moses & Mama!! I can’t wait to introduce y’all to my #sonshine. Photo credit: Dad who can’t stop crying tears of joy. Thank y’all for the love and support. It got us here,” she captioned the photo of herself holding her newborn son.
Tamron previously took to Instagram on Monday, March 4 to reveal that she was pregnant with her first child. “Surprise guys! Can you believe it? I’m about to be a mommy shark very soon!” she wrote at the time.
While announcing the shocking news, Tamron slipped in that she had secretly gotten married as well. “I’ve wanted to share this news for many months and now finally my doctor has said I am in a safe place, at 32 weeks, to share my joy with y’all,” she said in another Instagram post. “My husband Steven and I are beyond excited! We’re in constant prayer, so if you pray, add us to your list; if you meditate, send calmness our way; and if you believe in luck, we’ll happily take that too. More to share in a few weeks when the baby arrives! Next chapter! Blessed and Grateful.”
A source once told People that “Tamron is absolutely thrilled. This is a long-held dream for her, and to be honest, for a very long time she thought this wasn’t in the cards for her.”
