Susan Lucci has met her biggest foe: cerebral palsy!

The legendary soap star’s 7-year-old grandson, Brendan, has the neurological disorder — and she’s fighting for him in true Erica Kane fashion!

The “All My Children” diva, 68, vowed, “I won’t spare any expense to make sure my grandson has as normal a life as possible,” a friend told The ENQUIRER.

Cerebral palsy affects muscle and movement. Susan’s daughter, actress Liza Huber, saw the signs early.

“When Brendan was 10 months old and he couldn’t sit up on his own, I had to start kind of thinking about it,” Liza said.

“At 19 months, he couldn’t stand up. There was just no being in denial anymore.”

Brendan, who was born nine weeks premature to “Passions” actress Liza and her hubby Alex Hesterberg, was officially diagnosed in 2010.

“Susan was devastated when Liza told her the news,” added an insider.

Now the “Devious Maids” star is committed to finding a cure.

“Nothing is more important to Susan than her family,” said one soap source.

“She’d do anything to help Brendan — and if that means spending a fortune on the best treatment anywhere in the world for him, she won’t hesitate!”
