AFTER a terrifying health scare, Sharon Stone is backing off from Hollywood!
The “Basic Instinct” sexpot – who was recently hospitalized with symptoms similar to her near-fatal brain hemorrhage of 2001 – took the first step by dumping her Beverly Hills estate at a fire-sale price, insiders say.
“Sharon wants out of Hollywood,” a source told The ENQUIRER. “She wants to take things slower.”
The 54-year-old “Casino” beauty first listed her plush Mediterranean-style mansion on five acres for sale at $12.5 million in 2006. She dropped the price several times and just agreed to let it go for a heavily discounted $6.5 million.
That decision came after Sharon was hospitalized with excruciating headaches in Milan, where she was attending fashion week with her boyfriend, 27-year-old Argentinean model Martin Mica, in September.
The aging blonde bombshell hosted an AIDS fundraiser the day after her release and said: “I feel fine and I’m good and I’ve got a clean bill of health.”
But the source revealed: “Being hospitalized in a foreign country scared the hell out of Sharon. She put on a brave front, but behind the scenes, she’s a nervous wreck. That’s why she sold her home and is re-evaluating her life.”
The twice-divorced actress also wants to spend more time with her adopted sons, Roan, 12, Laird, 7, and Quinn, 6, sources say.
“Sharon couldn’t wait to get back to the States to see her boys, but more importantly, her doctors,” said the source. “Her health is her No. 1 priority right now.”
