Despite reports, that Sharon Stone lost custody of her son yesterday – not so!
The order issued by a San Francisco court that Stone’s 8 year old son Roan should remain with ex- hubby Phil Bornstein was misinterpreted by media.
The ruling mandated that Roan remain in his current school elementary school, according to Stone’s lawyer Martin Singer.
Despite the statement that Bronstein "shall have permanent sole physical custody," Sharon still retains joint custody of Roan as per the original agreement October 4, 2007
What confused media was the judge denied Stone’s request for Roan to transfer to a school in Los Angeles.
"The court felt that, for whatever reason, that she did not meet a burden to move him out of San Francisco during the school year," Sharon’s barrister explained.
Sharon "has not lost any iota of custody or visitation that she had before."
Stone and Bronstein adopted Roan in 2000 prior to their 2004 divorce.
