Electro-stimulation is used to treat depression – and Shakira, 38, gave birth six months ago to Sasha, her second child with Spanish soccer star Gerard Pique.
“It’s likely postpartum, given when she gave birth,” said Dr. Stuart Fischer, who has not treated the singer.
Gerard has been touring with FC Barcelona while Shakira remains alone with their two kids.
