Sara Gilbert ditched her daytime TV gig on The Talk to save her rocky marriage to musician Linda Perry!
“Sara was spending too much time on the show and ignoring her relationship with Linda and their three kids,” a source exclusively spilled to The National ENQUIRER.
“Something had to give, and she decided she wanted to put her focus on family!”
Sara, 44, has been coupled up with the singer-songwriter from 4 Non Blondes for nearly eight years, with the pair tying the knot in 2014.
Although they were already a happy family with Sara’s son Levi and daughter Sawyer — children from her previous relationship with producer Allison Adler — the newlyweds agreed to have a kid of their own.
“I knew when we got married that Linda needed a baby,” Sara said after having son Rhodes in 2015 with the help of a sperm donor. “She needed to follow a little soul from day one.”
But more recently, insiders said Linda felt she and the kids were being sidelined by Sara’s commitment to The Talk and the prime-time series The Conners.
And that’s when Sara decided to give up her day job. “Linda was blown away, and now they’re right back on track!” added the source.
