Rosie was on “vacation” from the floundering femme-fave AM chatter when the news was announced.
Variety reported the 50 year old will not be returning after a month’s ;ong leave to perform on the show.
AS The ENQUIRER previously reported contentious cohosts Rosie O’;Donnell and Whoopi Goldberg constant warring both on and off set had ABC execs ordering the dyspeptic duo to cool it, sources said.
“The brass feel they’ve trying everything,” an insider said.
And now they’re thinking about pulling the plug on the ratings challenged show as Alphabet Net execs are ready to abandon ship.
“When Barbra Walters was in charge she made everyone play nice or else,” said a close source to the situation.
“Now that she’s gone – all hell is broken loose."
And while the other Rosie – O'Donell – said on today's View denyed the Variety report, saying Rosie P. will return, network insiders are calling THAT movie spin-doctoring.
"It's just a matter of time," the source added.
