When “Rowdy” Ronda Rousey was the UFC women’s bantamweight champion, she put her opponents out of their misery quickly, and she’s still showing that mercy to her fans by confirming that she will appear in the “Sports Illustrated” Swimsuit Edition — naked except for body paint!
And Ronda did it in the best way possible: by sharing a behind-the-scenes teaser image of herself on a beach in all her pigment-splattered glory on her Instagram account this morning!
The ex-champ also shared this comment: “Secret’s out — so here’s a free preview of this year’s 2016 SI swimsuit issue … I was one of the lucky few chosen to be a canvas for a hand painted masterpiece that took 14 hours to put on — these are just behind the scenes shots taken with a phone’s camera, can’t wait to show you guys the final pics the when the issue hits stands!”
That’s a real swimsuit, too — with Ronda sporting a painted-on version of an original outfit from designer Camilla Frank’s own CAMILLA line!
Ronda first appeared in the celebrated swimsuit issue last year — but she was wearing an actual swimsuit made out of fabric, so she’s clearly raising the stakes for her return engagement.
“Rowdy” will be hosting “Saturday Night Live” with musical guest Selena Gomez on Jan. 23.
