ROB KARDASHIAN is set to undergo secret stomach stapling surgery after ballooning to a scale-busting 350 pounds!
Momager Kris Jenner will foot the bill for the gastric-band procedure for her 28-year-old son, who’s long battled weight woes, The National ENQUIRER has been told.
“Rob has issues that are far more serious than just weight, specifically his partying, lack of self-esteem and chronic depression, which is what makes him eat,” said an insider. “Still, he’s convinced that having this procedure is essential.
“Rob’s so heavy right now that it’s interfering with his ability to move around and lead a normal life!
“His mom’s been at him for over a year to have this done, and she’s agreed to pay for it if Rob agrees to a lot of therapy and a serious spell in rehab.”
As The ENQUIRER has reported, Rob has been feuding with his famous reality television family, especially big sister Kim, for the past year.
He even skipped Kim’s wedding to Kanye West in Italy in May 2014 after reportedly feeling too embarrassed to pose for photos with the bridal party because of his weight.
Since the wedding, Rob’s become a virtual recluse, rarely leaving his home in a gated community in Calabasas, Calif.
“Rob’s been living like a slob, blaming everyone else for his problems and gorging on food and drink to self-medicate,” divulged another source. “His life’s become unmanageable. It’s reached a point where his health is at serious risk unless he does something drastic.
“Rob realizes he has no choice but to follow his mom’s advice,” the source added. “The procedure will be traumatic, but it’s an opportunity for him to finally turn things around.
“Rob’s been a prisoner trapped in his own body for too long.”
