RENEE & KENNY SPLIT

Renée Zellweger‘s marriage to country singer Kenny Chesney is over after just four months, The National Enquirer can reveal.

The superstar couple — who wed in a sunset ceremony in the Virgin Islands in May — are having their marriage annulled.

They were reported to have spent just 15 days together since their surprise nuptials. But the break-up news still shocked their fans.

Chesney’s publicist, Holly Gleason, confirmed the split on Thursday afternoon.

The country star was on tour most of the summer and their relationship was said to have soured because of disagreements over whether they would live at his Nashville, Tennessee, mansion, or her home in Pomfret, Connecticut.

Zellweger, unhappy at seeing so little of her new husband, appeared alone at a premiere in London.

Both have checkered romantic histories — Chesney, 37, called off an engagement at the last minute to a longtime girlfriend and Renée, 36, previously dated Jim Carrey, singer Damien Rice and White Stripes rocker Jack White.

The couple first met in January at a fund-raiser for victims of the tsunami. One of Chesney’s biggest hits is called, “You Had Me From Hello,” which he coined from Zellweger’s famous line from her breakthrough film, Jerry Maguire.
