The Comeback Kid Mickey Rourke named top dog at the Indie Spirit Awards for Best Actor.
Needless to say, after winning for The Wrestler Mickey gave one of his now trademarked expletive laden rambling speeches – giving chops to late pup Loki who passed days earlier to the wrestling community to costar Marisa Tomei to finally director Darren Aronosky.
He also thanked the Santa Monica police department which "gave (him) a bed to sleep in 10 years ago" during his rowdy meltdown period.
The crowd of A-listers gave Big Mick a standing O and he received backslaps and hugs from crew backstage.
"I didn’t realize how many closet Mickey Rourke fans there were," Aronofsky said.
Other winners included best-actress Melissa Leo for Frozen River and supporting-actress Penelope Cruz for Vicky Cristina Barcelona with James Franco getting the nod for best supporting male thesp for Milk.
