In a dramatic attempt to rescue WHITNEY HOUSTON’s drug-plagued daughter, OPRAH WINFREY cut a deal to give troubled teen BOBBI KRISTINA a million-dollar job.

After a desperate plea from Bobbi Kristina’s grandmother Cissy Houston, the media mogul – herself, a former cocaine user – decided it would take her direct intervention to stop the 19-year-old from following the same tragic path as her famous mother.

Not only is she turning Bobbi Kristina into a wealthy woman, Oprah, 58, also vows to teach her everything about the broadcasting industry at her OWN cable TV network.

“It’s all hush-hush for now because Oprah didn’t want anything to overshadow her big interview with Bobbi Kristina,” an insider told The ENQUIRER. Viewers of Oprah’s emotional interview with Whitney’s troubled daughter – the first time Bobbi Kristina has spoken since her mother’s Feb. 11 death – will be unaware of the talk queen’s incredible “Good Samaritan” act.

During the taped interview, scheduled for broadcast March 11, Bobbi Kristina breaks down as she talks about her beloved mom and the anguish of her sudden, unexpected passing.

“There’s a secret behind the interview,” the insider said. “Oprah will ensure that Bobbi Kristina has a bright future.

“After Whitney’s funeral service, Cissy begged Oprah to ‘watch over’ her granddaughter because there’s ‘no one else I can trust.’

“With tears in her eyes, Cissy said her ‘grandbaby’ Krissi needed someone to look up to as a mother figure because her life is spiraling out of control.

“Cissy said she ‘feared’ what might happen to Bobbi Kristina once she returned to live in Georgia with no one to watch over her – and she urged Oprah to give the teen a fresh start in California at her OWN TV network.”
