Abby Lee Miller is being accused of hiding more than $755,000 from a bankruptcy court!
The 50-year-old dance instructor from Pittsburgh, Pa., was indicted and is looking at spending multiple years of her life behind bars if convicted.
“She’s going from having her kids perform on ‘The View’ to teaching the two-step to inmates — what a downfall!” said a source.
Miller faces 20 counts of bankruptcy fraud, concealment of bankruptcy assets and false bankruptcy declarations.
Authorities said she hid the income she earned in 2012 and 2013 from her show and several spin-offs.
If convicted, she faces up to five years in prison and a fine of $250,000 “for each count of the indictment, the U.S. Attorney’s Office in Pittsburgh said.
The ENQUIRER has also learned fame triggered her descent!
The judge overseeing her case saw her on “Dance Moms,” show, insiders said, and followed her activities at Abby Lee Dance Company.
Alarmed, the judge called a hearing in February 2013 and told her to “disclose all her earnings,” a source said — but feds said she still kept her income from the show hidden from view.
