MILLIONAIRE MATCHMAKER ENGAGEMENT WAS ‘FRAUD’

description

Millionaire Matchmaker PATTI STANGER’s engagement to real estate executive Andy Friedman was a sham!

In fact, a former business associate of the reality show love guru calls it an "elaborate fraud" designed to get publicity for Patti’s matchmaking business and her Bravo TV series.

"All the time I knew her, Patti never dated anyone," said the ex-colleague, who asked to remain anonymous.

It is important for the professional matchmaker to appear to be successful in her own love life, the former associate notes.

"Patti charges wealthy male clients tens of thousands of dollars to find them the girl of their dreams. So if she can’t find a love of her own, it hurts her credibility.

"That’s like hiring a personal trainer who’s 100 pounds overweight!

"I think it’s why Patti felt she needed to concoct this whole story about her and Andy."

Patti and Andy got engaged in Maui in May 2009.

In a very elaborate proposal, Andy had a black swan named Raymond deliver a 4-carat heart-shaped diamond ring to Patti.

The pair’s wedding preparations were featured endlessly on the show.

Then, suddenly, the 49-year-old matchmaker called off her wedding to Friedman by announcing the breakup on her Twitter page!

"I just ended my relationship with Andy," Patti Tweeted. "

"It hit me really hard that I want kids in my life. You have to agree on the non-negotiables."

Like high ratings for a non-happening event.
