Another lesbian wedding is on tap for MELISSA ETHERIDGE this time with her "best man" from her Gay Wedding #1, The ENQUIRER reports!
The openly gay rocker has asked galpal Linda Wallem to move in with her – and sources say the blossoming romance is headed for marriage!
"Melissa claims that Linda is her soul mate, and it's just a matter of time before they decide to tie the knot," a close pal told The ENQUIRER.
The ENQUIRER revealed exclusively in January that Melissa had fallen for writer/producer Linda, the creative force behind the hit Showtime series "Nurse Jackie."
"Melissa feels that she and Linda were destined to be together because they were both born on the same day – May 29, 1961," added another source.
"No one close to them would be a bit surprised if their joint 50th birthday bash turns into a surprise wedding! They're that much in love."
The pair was photographed shopping for a new car in Woodland Hills, Calif., in late March.
"Melissa was looking to buy Linda a car big enough to hold her four kids since Linda will be driving them to school when they stay with them," said the close pal.
Melissa has two children by former partner Julie Cypher – Bailey Jean, 14, and Beckett, 12, fathered by sperm donor David Crosby. She also has 4-year-old twins Johnnie Rose and Miller Steven with her ex, Tammy Lynn Michaels, who carried them after fertilization by an anonymous sperm donor.
Linda was Tammy's best friend and served as "best woman" at Tammy and Melissa's wedding-commitment ceremony in 2003. Tammy and Melissa officially split in 2010, but as The ENQUIRER revealed, Tammy was convinced Melissa and Linda were having an affair before they broke up!
"Melissa feels as if the bitter public split from Tammy is finally behind her," added the source, "and it's going to be smooth sailing with Linda from now on."
