Former sitcom stud Matt LeBlanc is fat and miserable after being dumped by his galpal of six years and getting shunned by his Friends co-stars, say sources.
The 5-foot-10 actor, who’s worth $80 million mostly due to playing Joey Tribbiani on the sitcom for ten years, is devastated over his split with British babe Aurora Mulligan, 36, according to sources who claim mopey Matt has been iced out by snooty Friends co-stars Courteney Cox and Jennifer Aniston.
“Matt’s been something of a black sheep of the cast for years now, not quite on the same level as Matthew [Perry] but lame enough to have Jen and Courteney rolling their eyes and wanting nothing much to do with him,” tattles a tipster.
“He’s a very downbeat and schlubby character and they just don’t want that type of guy at their dinner table.”
The 54-year-old onetime hunk has let himself go and is smashing the scales at well over 300 pounds, sources estimate.
“He’s eating his feelings,” says a source. “He’s not in a good place and the breakup is only making it worse. He’s not taking care of himself and is sinking into a very dark hole.”
LeBlanc’s publicist insists Hollywood chatter about the star’s broken heart, being on the outs with the Friends gang and burying his feelings are untrue. But a source claims the father of Marina, 18, with ex-wife Melissa McKnight “hit rock bottom” after being dropped by Aurora and “really needs his good friends to rally around him.”
