LITTLE HOUSE PRAIRIE WAR

Little House on the Prairie stars vicious feud turns ugly as MELISSA SUE ANDERSON threatens lawsuit after ALISON ARNGRIM calls her un-American!

Nasty Nellie Oleson is still stirring up trouble!

Alison Arngrim – who played the spoiled little brat on the TV classic Little House on the Prairie – incurred slander charges over her claims that one of her Little House co-stars had snubbed America by turning in her citizenship.

Alison said Melissa Sue Anderson – who played angelic Mary Ingalls – "moved to Canada and renounced her American citizenship," according to a report.

In her book, Confessions of a Prairie Bitch, Alison, 48, also dissed Melissa as a high-maintenance diva who was too stuck up to be friends with her.

In her own book, The Way I See It, Melissa, also 48, admitted she wasn’t friendly with the other girls during the show’s 10-year run – because she was shy. But she wasn’t hesitant to fire back after Alison questioned her patriotism.

Melissa took to Facebook and told Alison that she was "the real-life reincarnation of your nasty TV character."

"I have not bothered to repudiate the lies…in your book," she huffed. "But when you state that I renounced my American citizenship, this is going too far.

"My attorney informs me that some of these statements could be construed as defamation of character, and if you do not cease this ludicrous smear campaign, HE will be the next one to contact you."

A source told The ENQUIRER: "Melissa put up with Alison’s bitchiness as long as she could. Even though she lives in Canada, she’s still a proud American.

"She took the high road with Alison as long as she could. But the un-American snipe was uncalled for.

"She’s mad as hell. And she wants Alison to knock it off."
