Mars Jason O’Mara takes the plunge.
The 36 year old Irish hunk who fights crime in prehistoric 1973 New York was sworn in as a US Citizen yesterday.
"I’m proud to announce… I became a citizen of the United States of America,“ he said on The View.
"It all happened very fast, I had to (do) an interview and a test about American government and history."
O’Mara is evidently A-OK with INS because he’s been married to fellow thesp Paige Turco since 2003.
“I haven’t yet surrendered my Irish passport,” O’Mara admitted. “I’m not sure how that works.”
Just don’t tell your LOM boss Harvey Keitel – he’ll unleash a world of hurt by celebrating.
