Lark Voorhies wasn’t “Saved by the Bell” this time: She was saved by her mom — who helped the actress get out of a nasty marriage!
Lark’s mom, Patricia Holloway, filed a restraining order against son-in-law Jimmy Green in June, a source told The National ENQUIRER — and it helped convince 41-year-old Lark to file for divorce!
“Ever since Lark married Jimmy in a quickie Las Vegas wedding, Pat knew he was bad news,” said the source.
Lark, who played fashion-obsessed Lisa Turtle on “Saved by the Bell” from 1989 to 1993, married 32-year-old music engineer Jimmy in April.
In the restraining order, obtained by The ENQUIRER, Patricia accused Bloods gang member Jimmy of “throwing gang signs” and yelling expletives at her.
“After the issues her mom went through with Jimmy, Lark finally woke up and realized her six-month marriage was a mistake and dumped him,” said the source.
