LADY GAGA: NO CHUMP CHANGE FOR POST-DRUG POP PAYOFF

LADY GAGA rewarded her father with a $50 million-plus cut of her career profits for helping her beat an out-of-control cocaine habit!

The “Poker Face” singer – whose real name is Stefani Germanotta – decided to hand over half her earnings to her father Joe because she believes she’d be dead from cocaine use without his help, divulged a source close to the 25-year-old megastar.

“No one in the music industry can believe it!” the close source said. “It’s equal to Elvis Presley giving half his earnings to his manager, Col. Tom Parker.”

The normal commission for management is 15 to 20 percent. But Gaga is giving her father, who has no managerial role in her career, a whopping 50 percent of her income, the source explained.

“Gaga’s dad is already getting more than $50 million – half her $110 million earnings thus far – and that sum is only going to grow,” said the source.

“She’s doing it because she believes that without her father’s help she’d be dead from cocaine abuse.”

Gaga’s drug problems began in 2005 when she dropped out of New York University and lived in a seedy apartment, devoting herself to getting high, said the source.

“She snorted endless piles of coke,” said the source. “Everyone was worried about her, and no one was more concerned than her father.”

Gaga confessed that, in 2007: “My father looked at me one day and said, ‘You’re f***in’ up, kid.’ And I looked at him and thought, ‘How does he know that I’m high right now?’”

His straightforward words and continuing fatherly advice helped Gaga kick her drug habit.

“She knows that she’s got a lot to thank him for and calls him her ‘hero,’” said the source. “Now she’ll make him rich beyond his wildest dreams!”
