Kathie Lee Gifford has a lot of faith — that her next big career move will be to spread the word of God on TV!

The deeply religious longtime morning-show queen, who in April stepped down from her 11-year Today gabfest with Hoda Kotb, has expressed her hope to be the next great TV preacher, sources claim.

“Even as she was saying goodbye to the Today staff, she was preaching about the Lord and her dedication to him,” an insider exclusively snitched.

The 65-year-old former Live with Regis and Kathie Lee co-host — who was born Kathryn Lee Epstein and says she was “raised with many Jewish traditions” — became a born-again Christian at age 12 and later attended televangelist Oral Roberts’ namesake university.

During her long career, Kathie Lee has written several spiritual children’s books and released a number of Christian records. She also regularly delivers inspirational messages to fans on Facebook, and insiders say she now believes it’s her duty to share them with a wider audience!

“Kathie Lee is convinced it’s God’s will!” the insider adds.

“He blessed her with massive success and fame, and she plans to use the power given to her by the Lord!”

As part of her plan, the broadcaster reportedly plans to move to Nashville and has already revealed she’ll be writing television film scripts — including faith-based stories for Hallmark’s Godwink series.

Kathie Lee has also directed The God Who Sees, a 12-minute film shot in Israel, which is available online.

Preaching is “the natural next step for her,” according to the source. “She’s always been obsessed with Aimee Semple McPherson — the woman who pioneered preaching to the masses on radio — and Kathie Lee even wrote a musical about her!

“She plans to be the biggest televangelist of all time!”
