Archie has been born for over one week, but Meghan Markle and Prince Harry‘s son hasn’t met everyone in the royal family quite yet.
According to Radar Online, the newborn prince has yet to meet his aunt and uncle, Kate Middleton and Prince William, amid their ongoing feud with his parents! While the couple has been preoccupied with their royal duties — and probably their three kids — the news outlet reports that the royal duo plans to meet the baby boy on Tuesday, May 14.
Putting off meeting their nephew comes amid off and on drama between the four royals. After Archie’s birth, it even took William and Kate an entire eight hours to publish a statement.
“The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are delighted with the news of the birth of The Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s son today, and look forward to meeting the latest addition to the family,” they said.
When speaking to reporters the day after, William said he was “absolutely thrilled” about Archie’s birth. “I’m very pleased to welcome my brother to the sleep deprivation society that is parenting!” he joked at the time.
But as The National ENQUIRER has reported, Kate did all she could before Archie was born to end their feud. “The rift between the brothers and their wives has ripped the royals apart — and Kate decided enough was enough,” a high-level palace source revealed. “She was heartbroken her children, Princes George and Louis and Princess Charlotte, wouldn’t be close to Harry and Meghan’s child.”
Here’s hoping they get it together for the sake of the royal family reputation…
