Others have already noted that the ABC network has already been looking at Justin as an all-around talent, and even once had the popular talk-show guest on their short list for hosting the Oscars!

Instead, ABC went with their own late-night guy Kimmel — but network brass reportedly still have an eye on Timberlake’s future plans.
