The sick sexual abuse in the home of the Duggar Family — from reality television’s “19 Kids and Counting” — was treated by a Christian ministry that’s now embroiled in its own sex scandal!
Bill Gothard founded the Institute in Basic Life Principles, which Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar used as the foundation for home-schooling their massive brood!
Their television empire quickly fell apart after The National ENQUIRER reported on how their now-grown son Josh had sexually abused his younger sisters when he was a teen — and, more recently, was also caught cheating on his wife!
Those scandals did some real damage to the institute — which is now further rocked by 18 lawsuits from men and women claiming they were molested by IBLP leaders!

Gothard, 81, is accused of groping several girls, some of them as young as 13.
Two men are also suing, with one claiming that other male members of IBLP sexually molested him.
The plaintiffs are represented by David Gibbs, who said: “It’s very similar to the Bill Cosby situation. More and more victims keep coming forward telling the same story.”
Gothard denies the allegations, and his attorney said that the ministry leader is considering a countersuit against his accusers.

The former IBLP leader founded the institute in 1961, and resigned in 2014 amongst earlier allegations of sexual abuse.
As a teenager, Josh was sent to an IBLP facility in Little Rock, Ark., after admitting to his parents that he had sexually abused his younger siblings.
