“I think she is like, the Yoda of Hollywood serotonin,” he started off, explaining his fond feelings for Jenner. “She has a good grasp on how to make your serotonin just burst in your brain! I was sitting next to her and I was like, ‘You are the Ground Zero of bliss, of Hollywood bliss.’”
But then he shared how he really feels about the 63-year-old momager. “I’m also a little afraid of her,” the Grammy winner confessed to the Watch What Happens Live host. “She’s sort of like a Suge Knight character. … And my rule about Suge Knight was just, like, ‘Don’t let him notice you.’ So I don’t want to be noticed by Kris too much. I want a nice base level of respect. … She could end me!”
The rap mogul is currently serving a 28-year prison sentence after Knight allegedly struck and killed a man with his truck on the set of Straight Outta Compton. He had been facing an attempted murder charge, but pleaded no contest to manslaughter. Knight, who cofounded Death Row Records with Dr. Dre, has also been imprisoned for assault and weapons convictions.
While Mayer, 41, may have a healthy amount of fear and respect for Jenner, he admitted to Cohen that he likes the Kardashians. “They’re very nice people!” he insisted. “I think any objection to them is really more philosophical.”
As for those rumors that he and Kourtney Kardashian are dating? Not true, says the musician, who also offered up his own theory for where the rumors originated. “I will say, if the call is coming from inside the house, it’s diabolical and genius!” he gushed. “It’s a genius idea.”
