Just a few months after her headline-making split from Justin Timberlake, Jessica Biel has found herself a “real man” – her hot Scot movie co-star Gerard Butler!The gorgeous actress is telling pals that Gerard is the complete opposite of pretty boy Justin – and that she likes his rugged ways.
“Jessica used to laugh and say Justin kept more beauty products in the bathroom than she did,” a friend told The ENQUIRER. “It would take him an hour or more to get ready to face the world in the morning.
“Gerard just seems to roll out of bed and seize the day.”
While Jessica, 29, was devastated after her four-year romance with Justin ended in March, the notorious ladies’ man Gerard seems to be filling the void.
The pair spent the spring in Louisiana shooting the romantic comedy “Playing the Field,” in which they portray a divorced couple.
They quickly hit it off on the set, and often went out together after the cameras stopped rolling. But Jessica surprised her friends when she continued the flirty relationship with the 41-year-old after the movie wrapped.
“At first blush, Gerard doesn’t seem to be Jessica’s type – she’s always gone for the metrosexual kind of guy,” the friend continued.
“Gerard is a bit coarse and rumpled around the edges, and that’s like a breath of fresh air to Jessica after Justin.”
Jessica is fully aware of Gerard’s reputation as a player. He’s been linked to actresses Jennifer Aniston, Rosario Dawson and model Martina Rajic among others.
And that’s fine with Jessica, says the friend.
“Jessica was worn out over all the drama when she and Justin split up, and Gerard has put a smile on her face again,” the friend added.
“Gerard treats Jessica like she is the only woman in the world when they’re together – and that’s enough for her right now.”
