With the much-anticipated release of “The Hunger Games: Catching Fire,” the movie’s 23-year-old star JENNIFER LAWRENCE is the HOTTEST thing in Hollywood.
And while you may think you know everything about the Oscar-winning beauty, The ENQUIRER has uncovered 20 little known facts about her.
1. The youngest of three, Jennifer was a “surprise” baby.
2. As a kid, she says she was always looking to one-up people. “Somebody would be like, ‘Oh, God, my legs hurt.’ I’d be like, ‘Your legs hurt? I’m getting mine amputated next week!’ ”
3. She admits she doesn’t wash her hands after using the bathroom.
4. Jennifer saw a therapist because she had a hard time fitting in with other kids.
5. Jennifer went through a phase where she enjoyed painting acrylics of naked women.
6. She was just 9 when she auditioned for a role as a prostitute in a church production based on the Book of Jonah – and got the part because she came to the tryout “swinging her booty,” said her mom.
7. Thanks to shooting most of her scenes for “X-Men” in the buff, Jennifer says she’s now totally comfortable with public nudity.
8. Her idol is Jodie Foster, who directed and starred alongside Jennifer in the 2011 Mel Gibson clunker “The Beaver.”
