JACK WAGNER is hiding a secret shame – his newfound daughter is a stripper and was caught shoplifting.

While the former “Melrose Place” star WAS strutting his stuff each week on the “DWTS” dance floor, his daughter – 23-year-old Kerry Anne Hentrich – has been shaking HER tail feathers at the notorious Spearmint Rhino strip club in West Palm Beach, Fla.

And insiders tell The ENQUIRER that Kerry’s occupation played a part in the breakup of Jack’s engagement to longtime love Heather Locklear.

The actress reportedly called off their four-year romance in mid-November soon after learning that Jack’s daughter made her living as an exotic dancer under the stage name Raven.

Insiders say Heather didn’t want that lifestyle around her own daughter – 14-year-old Ava – from her marriage to Bon Jovi rocker Richie Sambora.

Jack discovered that Kerry was his daughter when she came backstage after a Nov. 4 show in Boca Raton, Fla., showed him an old photo of him and her mother and said: “You’re my father.”

Kerry was the product of a one-night stand between Jack, now 52, and her mother, also a dancer, in the 1980s. When the mother informed Jack that she intended to give the baby up for adoption, he tried to intervene.

But the adoption went through and Jack lost track of the little girl.

Kerry was raised by foster parents in New York but eventually hired a private investigator to uncover the identity of her birth parents.

Both Kerry and Jack wept as he introduced her to the audience on Nov. 5 at his Miami show, called her “the new light in my life” and later took her with him on a concert cruise. And that’s where she first admitted to him that she was a stripper.

“Jack is begging Kerry to give up stripping, but she insists she wants to keep doing it because the money is so good,” said the source.

Despite her boasts of having a good income, Kerry was busted for shoplifting a pair of earrings and a bracelet – with a value of less than $25 – from a Kmart near the Spearmint Rhino not long after returning from the cruise with Jack.

Although she was arrested and given a notice to appear in court for retail theft, charges were eventually dropped after she paid $50 in court costs and agreed to attend a diversion program.

“Kerry has obviously lived a troubled life, and Jack is terribly embarrassed by it,” the source continued.

“But he’s hoping that he can provide a stabilizing influence and help her to mend her ways.”
