An out-of-control Madonna has been on a rampage, lashing out during rehearsals for her Rebel Heart Tour – and her exhausted dancers have started to return fire!
“The dancers declared mutiny because she’s working them straight into the grave,” a tour insider exclusively told The National ENQUIRER.
The 57-year-old pop icon is so desperate to hang on to her relevance she’s riding roughshod over her band and dancers to ensure this tour vaults her back to the top of the charts.
“She’s been acting insane,” said the source. “One of the dancers broke her arm during rehearsal, and instead of showing concern, Madonna had a meltdown!”
The crew said the singer’s been abusive and demands that everyone wear black at all times.
After one prolonged episode of abuse, a dancer threw his credentials in her face and screamed: “F–k you! I quit!”
The incident was so inflammatory, the source said a shaken Madonna called security to “escort the remaining dancers out of the rehearsal.”
Insiders also said Madonna believes anyone on board the tour should be thankful they’re a part of it.
“She expects everyone to make this tour their top priority,” added the source. “She knows that everyone she hires will work countless hours at less than minimum wage because they want to work with Madonna. But she’s taking advantage of them.”
Some insiders fear many of the dancers and the band will rebel before the tour even hits the road. “She’s been a nightmare!” said the source.
