Devastated Tina Turner has sold the California apartment where her son Craig took his life.

“This was a tremendous relief for Tina,” said a source close to the star. “Everything about that place reminded her of the heartbreak of losing a child.”

Craig Raymond Turner, who worked in real estate, died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound at age 59 on July 3, 2018.

He was born before Tina’s marriage to abusive musician Ike Turner. Craig’s father, Raymond Hill, played saxophone in Ike’s band.

Sources said Craig, a recovering alcoholic, was distraught over his finances and relapsed before his suicide.

The “Proud Mary” singer, 79, completely refurbished the apartment and slashed the price by $40,000 just to free herself of the “house of horrors,” said the insider.

According to Tina, her son had fallen in love with a new girlfriend before his suicide.

“I still don’t know what took him to the edge,” she said. “He had said to me he had never met a woman that he felt that way about.”
