Taking after Dad! George Clooney’s twins Ella and Alexander are already becoming hilarious pranksters, according to the A-lister.

During a sit-down with the TODAY show on Tuesday, May 7, the 58-year-old star revealed that though his kids with wife Amal Clooney are near age 2, “They’re not the terrible twos.” Quite the opposite, in fact.

“They’re good kids. They’re happy kids. They laugh a lot,” the actor, who is promoting his new Hulu original Catch-22, dished. “They do pranks already — put peanut butter on their shoes so that it looks like poo-poo on their shoes and stuff, and they think that’s really funny!”

The Money Monster star is known for his on-set pranks. Shailene Woodley, his The Descendents costar, ratted in 2014 that the actor had some pretty juvenile jokes. “He’s also the ultimate prankster. He’d have fart machines on his phone and he’d mix hard boiled eggs with raw eggs, which would splatter everywhere,” she told Stylist magazine at the time. “He doesn’t take himself seriously at all.”

Clooney has also previously revealed that while filming Ocean’s 11 with pal Brad Pitt, he got a good one in after Pitt bought a Prius. “I got a bumper sticker in the shape of a pot plant that said, ‘F—k cops,’ and I put that on the back of his car,” he shared in 2015 on the Graham Norton Show. “Because there’s no way you’re not getting arrested with that!”

Another good one? Matt Damon once revealed to his The Monuments Men costar that he wanted to drop a few pounds before they started filming. With that in mind, Clooney revealed during a panel for the 2014 film, “Every time he went away [from the set], I’d have the wardrobe girl take in his uniform, like, a half an inch. He was eating great, and then his pants were getting tighter!”

Though the actor loves making jokes at his friends’ expense, he’s not afraid to poke a little fun at himself too. While dishing about how great it is to be a dad with TODAY’s Savannah Guthrie, he said of his little rascals, “They’re just completely different personalities, and they’re fun and smart, and I mean, they already can … you know, do all their ABCs in Italian and English, and I can’t do that in English!”

Besides gushing about his kids, Clooney also praised attorney wife Amal, whom he married in 2014. “She’s taking I.S.I.S. to court, she’s working on trying to get the Reuters journalists out of Myanmar,” he bragged. “She’s doing all that, and she’s also an incredible mom. Like, an incredible mom. And a pretty great wife too, so I feel like I hit the jackpot.”
