Hunky George Clooney’s wily wife, Amal, indulged in a massive $3 million makeover to end their constant bickering, rev up their romance and avoid a half billion-dollar divorce showdown, sources spill.
“Amal believes all the fighting put their marriage on the brink and has pulled out all the stops to create a stunning new image. George is head over heels for her once more!” dishes an insider.
The human rights lawyer stepped out in NYC late last month in a sexy dress, skyscraper heels and dramatic makeup with fuller tresses falling around her shoulders.
“Amal wanted to reignite the flame she lit in George when they first met — and it worked!” a source squeals.
According to tipsters, the glam gal hired stylists to restock her wardrobe with designer duds, is rebuilding the gyms in the couple’s homes in L.A., England and Italy, and hired personal trainers for each location!
“She’s also retained a full-time makeup artist and hairstylists to travel with her and has consulted plastic surgeons about procedures to give her face a fresher and sexier look,” whispers a mole.
Sources exclusively tell The National ENQUIRER after spending months cooped up together during the pandemic, the pair, who wed in 2014, took a much needed break from one another — with Amal, 44, heading to work in the Big Apple, while George, 61, directed his flick The Boys in the Boat in London.
“During lockdown, they seemed to fight over almost everything,” a source spills. “First, it was the renovations on their L.A. home while they were living there, and then Amal was furious when George was hospitalized two Christmases ago with life-threatening pancreatitis.”
Insiders say frantic Amal blasted her husband for developing the condition and putting his health at risk after losing 28 pounds for his role in The Midnight Sky.
But sources claim the couple — parents to twins Ella and Alexander, who’ll turn five on June 6 — also butted heads in 2018 when the Ocean’s Eleven star was hospitalized following a terrifying motorcycle crash, causing his wife to forbid him from riding ever again!
But a source confides, “Once they were apart, Amal began to fear she had been too hard on George and felt an emotional distance between them. That’s when she decided to spare no expense to lure him back!”
Insiders say her plan worked like a charm — and now the cozy couple is planning to try for more kids!
“Amal knows she’s a sexy lady,” a source squeals. “She just needed to spice things up — and they had more than enough money for her to do it!”
