The embattled ex-Duchess of York was dubbed “Fergie” by Fleet Streeters following her nups to Prince Andrew in 1986.
After pop star Fergie released her solo album entitled The Dutchess, Ferguson admits she tried to kung pow the thrush legally over her claim to the name.
"When the Black Eyed Peas (singer) tried to copyright Fergie, I rang her and said, 'You're trying to copyright Fergie, you've got an album called The Dutchess, excuse me, leave me something!',” Ferguson told CNN’s Piers Morgan.
"I said, 'You know what, come and sing for my charity,' and she did.
She came and sang for The Sarah Ferguson Foundation at Wall Street. Amazing.
“And we raised a lot of money for …school(s). Her mum is a teacher.”
