“Real Housewives of New Jersey” star Teresa Giudice and hubby “Juicy Joe” will face a living hell in prison!
That’s what sources tell The National ENQUIRER after the reality TV couple were sentenced to the slammer for using fraudulent schemes to finance their luxury lifestyles.
Seven months after they pleaded guilty to multimillion-dollar fraud charges in federal court, a judge slapped Teresa with a 15-month sentence and Joe with 41 months.
Teresa will report to prison on Jan. 5, while Joe looks after their four daughters aged five to 13. Gia, 13, Gabriella, 9, Milania, 8, and Audriana, 5. He’ll head to the clink when Teresa is freed.
Now The ENQUIRER has gotten the lowdown on the horrors Teresa will face if she’s sent to the federal lock-up in Alderson, W. Va. – the same joint where Martha Stewart served time in 2004for convictions stemming from a stock scandal.
“If you’re a lesbian inmate at Alderson, it’s great. If you’re not, it’s a nightmare,” former inmate Elizabeth Frame has told The ENQUIRER. “If you don’t get hit on by the lesbians, there’s a good chance you could be raped by a guard.”
Although Alderson is classified as a “work camp,” Frame explained: “It’s more like a slave camp. You’re required to work an eight-hour shift unless you’re physically unable to.”
Female inmates are housed in 9- by 12-foot cubicles divided by 5-foot-high cinder block walls. Two inmates are assigned per cubicle, which has a bunk bed, a small desk and bulletin board.
Joe, meanwhile, could end up at the Federal Correctional Institution in Fort Dix, N.J.
While low security, the facility houses sex offenders and drug traffickers – and could be deadly. On Nov. 4, 2010, a 27-year-old Fort Dix inmate got into an argument with his cellmate and shoved him down the stairs – killing him!
A source said: “Compared to the luxury lifestyles that Teresa and Joe are used to, prison is going to be a hellhole.”
